Fund managers spend a lot of time and effort attracting prospective investors. Once a hard-won relationship is established and a verbal commitment is secured, the formal onboarding process begins. Collecting detailed and accurate documentation from investors is an essential step in establishing their investment in a fund. Yet investor onboarding has historically been an inefficient, cumbersome and confusing process—for investors and fund managers alike.
