Asset allocators face a major challenge when it comes to tracking and reporting investments and underlying holdings across a variety of asset classes. A consolidated view of all fund investments addresses this challenge. Choosing a package with software that provides that consolidated view, as well as tailored services and flexible pricing, is critical for success.
SS&C will be participating in a session at the upcoming GAIM Ops West conference; “Benchmarking team synergies: how operations is involved in the allocation/investment process” will be October 21, 2019. The panel will examine how institutional operations and ODD professionals are working with their investment teams to advise on alternatives allocation.
Christopher Kundro, Managing Director in SS&C’s Alternative Assets division, will be representing SS&C on the panel. Kundro was previously Head of the Global Fund Services division of Wells Fargo, which was acquired by SS&C in 2016. The panel will also include Jorge de Lafuente of Texas Treasury Safekeeping Trust Company and Annie Kerns of UNIMCO.
Join Kundro and the other panelists for their discussion of how they assess and advise investment teams on issues such as multi-asset vs. niche manager, asset exposure and new opportunities. Kundro will discuss how products like SS&C’s FundHub, which allows our allocator clients to manage all their data on a single platform, can help allocators face industry challenges. FundHub provides support across all asset classes including hedge, private equity and real estate/real asset funds.
