Global Custodian has named SS&C GlobeOp as a top administrator for hedge funds and private equity funds in its annual survey, significantly outperforming the industry average for the second year in a row. The independent annual survey asked SS&C clients to rate administrators across a number of categories, including client service, reporting and onboarding. Their response is a testament to the continued investment SS&C has made in its fund administration business over the last year.
SS&C GlobeOp Hedge Fund Survey Results
SS&C GlobeOp significantly outpaced industry averages across all nine categories in the Hedge Fund Administrators survey, with a score of 6.54 out of a possible 7.00, versus the industry average of 6.02. Clients ranked SS&C especially highly in Client Service, Investor Service and Operations and Reporting categories.
In many clients cited SS&C’s client outreach efforts in a remote environment as a differentiator. “I’m giving them an excellent rating this time, due primarily to their willingness to work with us during a difficult time. This helped to ensure we were appropriately positioned to survive during these challenging times and retool ourselves to prosper in the future,” one client told GC.

Private Equity Administration survey respondents echoed the sentiment, citing SS&C GlobeOp Private Markets’ flexible, knowledgeable service. SS&C once again outpaced industry averages across a number of categories, with an overall ranking of 6.2 versus the industry’s 5.7. Clients cited SS&C’s reporting, screening and onboarding services as differentiators.
