With the financial services industry facing an increasing demand for digital solutions for their customers, is your firm investing in the right things to drive digital transformation? According to the "2023 Digital Transformation and Next-Gen Tech Study" by Broadridge, nearly a third of financial services’ overall budget went to digital transformation initiatives last year. Are you looking to build a customized, self-service user interface that can accommodate multiple business needs—from retail shareholders to advisors to institutional or third-party trading firms?
SS&C has developed a new data enrichment and integration platform that allows clients to create a custom site that can easily be used with any internal or external platform. Clients control the full user experience while creating a customized web experience that is unique to their company. No cookie-cutter websites or interfaces—clients can create a stand-alone site or use SS&C’s APIs to integrate with an existing platform.
Who can benefit from SS&C’s Integration Hub API Solution? Any client that uses SS&C’s investor recordkeeping system. For example, a fund company directly can host their own site and manage retail and institutional client users and authentication. Moreover, with our API-centric approach, clients will benefit from accessing and integrating different back-end capabilities, resulting in improved operational efficiency and effectiveness.
As an example, there are 78 API endpoints available for investors in mutual fund, 529 plans and alternative products that can be accessed. This includes things like new account set-up, account balance inquiry, transaction processing, statement and tax form retrieval, account maintenance activity and other fund inquiries.
For financial advisors, the Integration Hub has 99 API endpoints that cover all the most common tasks an advisor would have such as establishing and validating a new account, book of business inquiries, transaction history, statement and tax from retrieval, intermediary provisioning, and authorization and account maintenance activity.
Financial institutions benefit from a collection of APIs that allow a fund sponsor or an affiliated third-party firm the ability to provide self-servicing interfaces for use by their Institutional clients to review, maintain and transact on Institutional positions.
Another key element of the Integration Hub is KAFKA-based real-time event streaming. This feature tracks real-time events such as transfer agency financial activity, money movement, cash available, etc., and provides clients with event updates and alerts enabling them to make better, more informed decisions.
If you are interested in enhancing your firm’s digital experience with less maintenance and day-to-day involvement from your staff, improving client satisfaction and offering more ways customers can serve themselves, we hope you will consider SS&C’s new Integration Hub API Solution.
